Camps Bay is an upmarket suburb in Cape Town, which draws crowds to its namesake beach, known for its fine white sand Beaches, natural rock swimming pool and views of the Twelve Apostles mountains. Behind the beach are posh seafood restaurants, mellow cafes and cocktail bars with patios overlooking the promenade. Nearby are Promenade Malls with boutiques selling fashion and beachwear, while the initimate Theatre on the Bay stages drama, musicals and comedy.

Where to stay in Camps Bay? You are spoilt for choice on how many Hotels there are, here are a few to mention, The Bay Hotel, The Marly Boutique Hotel, POD Camps Bay and 61 On Camps Bay Guest hours.

My favourite being The Marly Boutique Hotel , 5 star rating,  the location is fabulous in the heart of vibey Camps Bay bustling sunset strip, with a large number of restaurants and bars right on your doorstep.

The new rooftop pool-bar at the Marly offers the best sea views in Cape Town covering 360 degrees ,with views of Lions Head, Twelve Apostles Mountain Range as a majestic backdrop and a frontage view of Camps Bay’s white sandy beaches and Atlantic Ocean. The new look for the additional rooms, is more stylish and keeps to the playful touches that are a trademark  of owner Paul Kovensky, such as the 3D hands that hold the room card numbers. The rooms are clean and luxurious, service was impeccable and the food in the Bilbao in the morning was excellent. The staff were very friendly and provided quality service.
