The course begins with an engaging theory component that you can complete online, allowing you to learn at your own pace from anywhere in the world. Once you finish the theoretical studies, you will journey to the heart of South Africa for the practical stage, where adventure truly comes alive. Here, you will gain hands-on experience in setting up campsites, catering to the needs of potential tourists, mastering convoy driving, and much more—all essential skills for a successful adventure guide. But the adventure doesn’t stop there. To enrich your guiding journey with purpose, we include a one-week conservation program at Bambelela Wildlife Care and Vervet Rehabilitation Centre and to culminate your adventure with an unforgettable highlight, you will visit the Feracare Wildlife Centre for a close encounter with one of Africa’s most magnificent creatures—the cheetah. This immersive experience will deepen your understanding of wildlife care and conservation efforts in Africa, giving you a meaningful connection to the environment you will help protect.
